 American Trading International is a pioneer in the business of recycling, dedicated to the treatment of post-industrial and post-consumer plastics. We have established recycling programs with major companies all over the world. Our operations started in 1973 integrating contacts domestically and internationally. American Trading International has imported and exported post-industrial plastics, growing every year, to become one of the most complete recyclers in the world. In 1992 we expanded our operations to include the post-consumer plastics market. WAREHOUSING AND DISTRIBUTION: American Trading International has its main warehousing facility in Kearny, NJ. Strategically located next to Port Newark our warehouse enables us to consolidate goods for shipments overseas. We have a fleet of over 40 trailers for dropped trailer programs and timely pickup for materials in the NJ, NY, PA and CT areas. We also have several contracts with major shipping lines, allowing us to bring containers to our supplier's door at any inland location throughout the USA. VOLUMES: in 2003 we traded over 55,000 tons of plastics. American Trading International believes in the philosophy of service first, this helps us to establish recycling programs which are considered the best in the world.
